Software Developer, Data Analyst

Boothbay Fund Management, LLC is a multi-manager, multi-strategy firm with 100+ alternative asset managers trading strategies across a spectrum of asset classes globally. Boothbay launched its flagship strategy in 2014 and currently has approximately $2BN under management. Boothbay has its primary office in NYC, and an additional office in Westchester County NY. The firm is operated with an entrepreneurial spirit and is continually seeking to improve and expand.

Role

We are looking for a talented and passionate junior Software Developer to be part of our development team. This role sits in the intersection of various groups, but the individual will principally be responsible for creating and maintaining database tools to ensure data integrity across the firm.

Responsibilities

·       Develop and implement supporting applications and services designed to efficiently process data from diverse sources and store in the database.

·       Maintain the integrity of a relational database responsible for housing trade records, positions, and referential data.

·       Interface with different APIs to set the proper mapping and normalization of data in order to align with our existing structure.

·       Collaborate with third-party vendors to automate processes and gather relevant data.

Qualifications

•         Experience as a C# .NET developer

•         Experience in Relational Database Languages (MySQL a plus)

•         Understanding of OOD

•         Understanding of Transact-SQL

•         Knowledge of multi-threading

•         Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)

•         Troubleshooting and communication skills

Experience:

·       C#: minimum 3 years

·       Python: minimum 1 years

·       Relational databases: Minimum 3 years

·       Prior experience working within financial services firms

Compensation

·       Anticipated Salary Range (applicable to either primary work location set forth below): $75k- $200k base salary, plus eligible for discretionary bonus commensurate with performance

·       Benefits include Health insurance and 401(k)
