As a Specialist on the Performance Marketing team, you will support the REI social channels with lower funnel planning, publishing, optimization, shop curation, and reporting. You will join a social savvy team that is focused on driving demand through social channels for REI. Social Selling opportunities present themselves quickly, so you will need to be nimble and forward-thinking as new Social Selling capabilities to sell gear and apparel become available to multi-brand retailers.
We're looking for someone who can
Support day-to-day paid social publishing and optimization across REI's social media channels.
Balance quick-turn projects with upstream planning and project deadlines.
Drive innovation that taps into new trends and inspiration through gear and apparel.
Manage tactical planning with guidance within the parameters of the assignment.
Champion new ideas that position REI's social channels as a valuable and growing path to purchase.
What you'll do:
Responsible for coordinating the activation of go-to-market campaigns, highlighting of unique brands and products, sales events, and seasonal campaigns in partnership with program managers.
Drive sales demand by leveraging new avenues of selling gear and apparel through social media.
Contribute to ongoing reporting and deliver campaign recaps, which inform growth and optimization.
Work collaboratively with cross-divisional partners to find efficiency in how we deliver a best-in-class customer path to purchase.
Responsible for publishing and managing Social Selling calendar for upcoming product driven campaigns.
Support the Social Selling Program Manager in varying ways as the social landscape changes.
Maintenance of tagging and other technical details within social platforms.

Comfortable speaking on behalf of Social Selling support outcomes with internal partners.

Ability to build and foster strong relationships with internal peers and partners.
Embody curiosity of how social channels can and will evolve in the future.
Comfortable organizing large data sets to uncover the "why” in what we see in the data.
Bring your passion and expertise
1-3 years' experience in social media planning and execution of paid social commerce campaigns is required. Equivalent experience or bachelor's degree preferred.
1+ years demonstrated experience publishing, execution, reporting, and optimizations to inform planning.
Experienced in Microsoft Office business applications.
Demonstrates strong written and verbal communications skills.
Highly tuned industry knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Pinterest, TikTok and other social platforms.
Demonstrate proven ability to balance quick-turn assignments with longer lead planning.
Uses business knowledge, innovative thinking, and sound judgment in the solution of problems or the pursuit of business opportunities.
