**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor with expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro to join our dynamic Social Media team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through video and audio content and a keen understanding of Social Media trends. As a Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality, engaging video content tailored for various Social Media Platforms. You will collaborate closely with our team to bring our brand's vision to life through compelling visuals.
**Responsibilities:**
1. Edit and assemble raw audio and video footage into polished video content for Social Media Platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc.
2. Create engaging video content that aligns with our brand's voice, style, and marketing objectives. This video content will be paired with raw Audio files that will also require editing.
3. Collaborate with team to brainstorm and develop creative concepts for video campaigns. Our team values collaboration, but also values an individual who understands that the final say rests with company ownership.
4. Implement visual effects, audio editing and modification, motion graphics, and animations to enhance the quality and appeal of video content.
5. Optimize video and audio content for various Social Media Platforms, ensuring it meets technical specifications and best practices for each platform.
6. Stay updated on Social Media trends, platform updates, and emerging video editing techniques to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of our video content.
7. Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and project requirements.
8. Maintain organized file management and version control for all video and audio assets.
9. Provide constructive feedback and guidance to content creators to improve the quality of raw footage and streamline the editing process.
**Requirements:**
1. Proven experience as a Video Editor with proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
2. A strong portfolio showcasing your video and audio editing skills and creative vision, particularly for Social Media Platforms.
3. Solid understanding of Social Media trends, audience preferences, and platform algorithms.
4. Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects and Photoshop, for video editing, motion graphics, and visual effects.
5. Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics, composition, and storytelling.
6. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
7. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.
8. Knowledge of video compression techniques, file formats, and video optimization for web and mobile platforms.
9. Knowledge of audio overlays, sound mixing, and balancing of sound within a video environment to maintain authenticity while enhancing appeal.
10. Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field (preferred).
11. Experience with video editing for brands, agencies, or digital media companies is a plus.
**Location:**
This position is based in Lee’s Summit, Missouri and on-site presence is required.
