Job description

In the Receivables Public Sector site trainer role, you will deliver new hire and cross functional training to associates and leaders. It is critical in this role to learn the operations workflow as well as assess how emerging technologies will impact and change in the future state. You will manage multiple training projects in a fast-paced environment and interface with operations managers, training developers, and business analysts at all levels to ensure successful training implementations. This role is integral in supporting the business' transformation initiative to achieve long-term strategic goals. The expected training solutions should be hands-on, interactive, engaging, and concise and should utilize adult learning theories as well as the latest training development methodologies and tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate classroom, virtual, and floor huddle training sessions to support operations
  • Provide evaluation, coaching, and feedback to develop new hires and existing employees on job performance and skill acquisition
  • Independently manage ongoing training programs; assess and recommend changes to training programs and provide input into development of new training programs
  • Schedule training, coordinate resources, and maintain records of training sessions and participants.
  • Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness by deploying measurement and feedback tools
  • Leverage subject matter experts to create accurate, realistic, and engaging training material
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with management to ensure that the training curriculum addresses gaps and needs
  • Support the operation sites during system and production implementation of new procedures and processes.
  • Maintain the training system environment for ongoing training

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills and experiences:

  • Relevant Bachelor's degree or equivalent four-year practical experience working in an operation/production, a finance institution, or a fast-paced business environment
  • Minimum four years of experience in technical and soft skill training and development
  • Professional instruction and presentation skills
  • Ability to effectively deliver technical training content, as well as an ability to facilitate discussion through interaction and engagement
  • Knowledge of adult learning theories and training development methodologies
  • Excellent communication (writing focused), organization skills, and attention to detail
  • Proficient competency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Flexibility in changing work schedules to accommodate 24-hour operations
  • Preferred knowledge in lockbox processing
  • Preferred experience in training data analysis

Work schedule:  Must be flexible to support a 7 day/24-hour operation.  Will primarily work day Shift (700am - 330pm) Monday - Friday, but needs to be able to flex to meet peak business needs.

This position will be located at the South Burlington location (725 Community Dr, South Burlington, VT, 05403).

A Government Security Clearance may be required for this position.  This includes, but is not limited to:
