Job Purpose
• The Shipping and Receiving Clerk will support both sides of the shipping and receiving function. On the shipping side they will package items, print labels, weigh packages and determine appropriate postage. As receiving clerks, they will be responsible for comparing bills of lading against actual merchandise received, inspecting for damaged goods and, once approved, distributing merchandise to the correct departments.

Duties and responsibilities
• Accurately document all receivables from their multiples sources (FedEx, UPS, USPS, Pine Drivers, Customer Drop Off, and other sources)
• Quality inspection of all equipment
• Promptly communicate with customers and supervisor for any and all discrepancies (Missing items, damages, unexpected returns, and any others that come up)
• Maintain a clean, sage, and efficient work area at all times
• Attention to detail is paramount
• Enter all received items into the spreadsheet and M3 Database
• Act as an active back up to other warehouse personnel, when needed
• Assist with cleaning and preparation of equipment as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
• High School Diploma/GED or Higher
• 2 years of Customer Service Experience, preferably in the environmental/safety or rental field
• Excellent Communication Skills- Written, Verbal, Interpersonal, and Phone
• Ability to think analytically, with focus on problem troubleshooting
• A flexible and strong team player that can work in a fast paced environment
• Basic Computer Literacy with Microsoft Office

Working Conditions
• Working in an office/warehouse environment
• Essential physical requirements- sitting, standing, and bending as needed
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs safely
