Shipping & Receiving Clerk
The Shipping & Receiving Clerk is responsible for inventory control, executing shop administrative initiatives, and organizing day-to-day functions of the parts department.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the parts inventory for the parts department
- Handle part ordering
- Answer telephone dealing directly with vendors
- Accurately receive parts requests into the inventory system
- Pull parts for shipping and the shop
- Stock in parts and bin properly
- Order parts when stock becomes low
- Pull needed parts from inventory
- Assist in locating parts
- Verifying part numbers
- Securing shipment of parts
- Adjusting inventory levels as instructed by management
- Tracking the return of parts
- Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to become efficient using the service system
- Will work in both warehouse and office environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to stand for 8 hours at a time
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
