2nd shift opening: 2:00pm - 10:00pm $18.76/hour
The Shipping and Receiving Clerk could be responsible for:
Responsibilities
- Conduct receiving, in-process and outbound shipping inspections to ensure product quality standards are verified.
- Move shipments from staging areas to operator areas and shipping dock, loading and unloading trucks with various types of forklifts.
- Crate, weigh, label, and record shipments.
- Audit operator counts, delivery counts, and review documents for accuracy and completeness.
- Operate a computer to access, correct, and enter information. Maintain supplies for shipping and receiving staff.
Qualifications
- High school diploma and one to three years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and write; possess basic math aptitude using fractions, decimals and whole numbers. Number accuracy is required.
- Ability to use and interpret precision measuring equipment, including readings and fixed gauges.
- Ability to access basic information via computer.
- Complete forklift safety training.
