Responsible for the delivery of new employee orientation, new product and service training, systems training, customer interaction training, and soft skills training. Facilitates training sessions on complex and advanced topics including team leader training and advanced systems. Acts as a subject matter expert of training content and mentors peers.


  • Facilitates learning through a variety of delivery methods (classroom, virtual training, conference calls, train the trainer sessions, labs and peer-to-peer coaching)
  • Trains from introductory to advanced levels
  • Identifies alternate solutions /learning when delivery challenges arise (materials, content, room set-up)
  • Responds appropriately to learner needs (clarification, examples, feedback)
  • Establishes and maintains expertise in subjects taught
  • Manages classroom environment so it is safe and conducive to learning
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of training conducted (class feedback, follow-up, surveys)
  • Leads, manages, and actively participates in team/program meetings
  • Conducts peer-to-peer observations and provides coaching and feedback
  • Communicates curriculum or program effectiveness back to leadership and/or national curriculum development team
  • Provides technical and/or analytical support to one or more departments or work units with limited supervision; aids in the successful completion of projects within a product or functional area
  • Reviews training material and provides feedback to curriculum owners as needed
  • Plays a key role in the planning, development, and design of new curricula
  • Manages and prioritizes multiple courses
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned
  • Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values

  • Demonstrated project management experience
  • Experience in learning effectiveness and trainer readiness preferred
  • In depth knowledge of training processes and procedures
  • Must be highly proficient in Excel and Word
  • Must be a team player with strong attention to detail and able to work independently
  • Proven track record at delivering timely and accurate information in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, mathematical skills and sound judgment
  • Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred
  • Strong business acumen and ability to interface with executive management

 

The Job Pay Range for this role considers the wide range of factors in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to skill set; experience and training; licensure and certification; geographic location; and other business and organizational needs. Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.
