Job description

Location: Fully Remote

The Senior Total Rewards Specialist is responsible for managing the administration of Accanto Health's employee compensation and benefits programs and ensuring these programs align with the company's goals and competitive practices. This position is also responsible for ensuring that company compensation and benefits programs are consistently administered in compliance with internal policies and government regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Benefits:

  • Administer Accanto Health's benefit programs.
  • Work with broker and financial consultants to research employee benefits in similar industries and recommend changes or updates to the company's existing benefits or policies to create competitive, cost-effective benefits packages for the organization.
  • Lead the annual benefits open enrollment process, including partnering with vendors, developing employee communications and set up and testing of the benefits enrollment system. Partner with broker in delivering open enrollment presentations.
  • Provide guidance to employees on benefit inquiries concerning plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquires.
  • Partner with payroll to ensure proper payroll deductions.
  • Conduct weekly new hire orientation
  • Monitor weekly file feed integrations for discrepancies or rejections and resolve data discrepancies.
  • Assist with annual 401(K) nondiscrimination testing and audit.
  • Lead data review for annual ACA 1095 validation and filing.
  • Assist with employee recognition and well-being initiatives.
  • Facilitate employee benefits surveys to collect employee feedback on specific issues or topics related to benefits.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of benefit laws and regulations including ACA, ERISA, HIPAA, FMLA and COBRA.


Compensation:

  • Participate in compensation surveys including the evaluation and determination of appropriate benchmark matches. Makes recommendations on salary surveys to purchase.
  • Benchmark positions to market using salary survey data and Payscale Compensation Management system.
  • Analyze compensation data and recommend salary grades.
  • Maintain data in Payscale system.
  • Assist talent acquisition team with offer recommendations if needed.
  • Support Manager in annual compensation market review.
  • Effectively communicate with management regarding the results of analyses and provides consultation regarding compensation best practices.
  • Assist with the annual merit increase process including system configurations.
  • Assist with the development of compensation training and curriculum for managers and HR Team.
  • Provide support in the development of compensation reports. Perform costing and modeling scenarios as requested.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources or related fields is required and 5+ years of compensation and benefits experience.
  • Experience managing benefits and compensation in coordination with a Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and Compensation Management System platform. Experience with UKG and Payfactors/Payscale is a plus.
  • Extensive knowledge of human resource laws, federal, state and local regulations and best practices. Thorough knowledge of COBRA, HIPAA, ACA, ERISA and FMLA requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate data.
