ABOUT THIS POSITION

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist is a human resources professional responsible for sourcing, attracting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding top talent. This role will focus primarily on exempt and management positions and must have a demonstrated history of leading and filling searches for food service business functions. This is a high volume, relationship and technology driven position. Position is remote, with flexibility to travel throughout the US occasionally.


This is a fully remote role with travel.


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan and implement company talent acquisition strategy
  • Manage recruitment and selection processes (resume screening, screening calls, interviews etc.)
  • Conduct sourcing activities in order to fill open positions
  • Schedules and participates in collaborative interviewing
  • Administer all onboarding activities including generating offer letters and introduction to HRIS system
  • Suggest process improvements to company’s policy for talent benchmarking, talent assessment and interviewing
  • Perform analysis of organizational development and anticipate future employment needs
  • Design job descriptions and interview guides that reflect each position’s requirements
  • Serve as brand ambassador at various events, like career fairs or on-campus recruiting events
  • Represent company internally and externally at events with a goal of networking and relationship building with potential candidate communities
  • Counsel the candidate on company provided benefits, salary, and culture
  • Build long-term relationships with past and potential candidates
  • Manage respective candidate pools to ensure qualified candidates remain engaged in current or future opportunities
  • Drive efforts toward top talent and a diversified workforce
  • Generate monthly updates for company’s leadership about upcoming talent acquisition initiatives
  • Create and report on monthly reports on key talent acquisition metrics
  • Serve as a consultative business partner to hiring managers to influence action and decision making
  • Communicate regularly with all departments to get a clear view of company’s hiring needs and organizational goals
  • Work closely with marketing department to develop creative ways for addressing talent acquisition challenges
  • Proactively seek market intelligence to gain competitive advantage in attraction, assessment and sourcing methodologies
  • Suggest new ideas for improving talent acquisition activities
  • Research talent acquisition trends in the staffing industry
  • Completion of various HR related projects and tasks as assigned
Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous working experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist in food service industry or highly competitive business development environment required.
  • In-depth knowledge of candidates selection methods
  • Creative sourcing and pipelining experience including use of social media
  • Strong business development/sales talent pipeline relationships preferred
  • Excellent understanding of full cycle recruitment processes
  • Hands on experience with Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and/or HRIS systems
  • Outstanding communications and interpersonal skills
  • Impactful presentation style
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
  • Creative thinker and proactive problem solver
  • A positive, “can do” attitude
