We are looking for a senior software engineer to design and implement new features and evolve our platform. The senior software engineer engages in the development of front-end interfaces, platform APIs and services, and our e-commerce and POS integrations. We believe we should own what we build, therefore our team develops, maintains, and monitors the deployment pipelines and infrastructure of our production systems to enable continuous delivery of software changes.
To be successful in this role you will need to be comfortable working in a highly collaborative, cross-functional remote work environment. You will need both depth and breadth of technical skills to work across the entire stack of user applications, SaaS services, SQL and NoSQL databases, build pipelines, and automated test suites. You should be enthusiastic about learning and strive for the best solution you can deliver today while keeping in mind the needs of tomorrow. You should also be able to mentor and guide other engineers.
You may be particularly well-suited for this role if XP, Kanban, and Lean software practices are meaningful and exciting to you.
You’ll Need:
- Boundless curiosity, tenacity, humility, and a desire to get things done.
- Expertise in at least a few of the languages and technologies we use.
- Experience with continuous delivery pipelines and trunk-based development.
- Enthusiasm for coaching, pair/mob programming, TDD, and ATDD.
- Familiarity with Event-driven and Reactive architectures is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- 8+ years experience.
Technologies we use:
- React, ReactNative, Node, Mongo, Kafka, Docker, Typescript.
- AWS CloudFormation, ECS Fargate, Lambda, Event Bridge.
- GitHub, Jira, Confluence.
This position reports directly to our Head of Engineering.

Compensation/Benefits:
- Salary $140,000-$180,000, pay will vary according to location and experience.
