Job DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated individual to join our Identity and Access Management (IAM) team. This position will help safeguard the organization's information by implementing controls, developing standards, and design solutions to ensure we successfully identify, authenticate, and authorize access to critical data and applications. In this role, your skills, experience, and knowledge of IAM technologies and concepts will help the organization balance policy, regulatory and auditing compliance requirements with end user experience through application on-boarding, IAM workflow development, process improvements, and supporting highly available application environments.
The Sr Security Engineer, IAM will be a member of the Information Security Team, focused on Identity and Access Management. This position is responsible for the engineering and support of Digital River’s identity and access management program and systems. The role will focus on systems and tools associated with Identity Lifecycle, identity governance, privileged access management, and overall access management. The Sr Security Engineer, IAM will be expected to leverage their experience and expertise to define the strategy and implement the appropriate security controls to meet policy, audit, and compliance needs.
40% System Engineering
- Identity and Access Management automation – develop automation focused on identity lifecycle.
- Design and implement security architectures, strategies, and solutions to protect Digital River’s identities
- Research requirements to determine system feasibility, costs, benefits, or functional requirements
- Develop strategies to automate manual tasks related to identity management lifecycle
- Develop, implement, and administer identity related policies and procedures
- Performs system maintenance on all security tools and identifies areas of improvement
30% System Security Operations
- Triage and support operational issues involving IAM systems and tools
- Perform periodic entitlement reviews across the organization
- Perform job-related duties as assigned or related to various other IAM/security technologies
- Conducts vulnerability assessments on Digital River’s software, architecture and vendors as needed
- Perform various manual tasks related to the provisioning and de-provisioning of user accounts
30% Technical Support
- Serves as a subject matter expert on identity and access management
- Assist with security audits as needed
- Participate in managing a ticket que and fulfilling support tickets within defined SLAs
- Evaluates and recommends new and emerging security products and technologies
- May serve as mentor to more junior team members
Required / Minimum:
- 5+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management engineering
- Experience with automating manual tasks related to IAM systems and tools.
- Coding / scripting skills – Ability to add, update or troubleshoot code to resolve issues, create efficiencies or integrate systems is a plus.
- Experience working with systems (UNIX/Linux/Windows) and directories (LDAP, etc.)
- Knowledge and understanding of the role of Identity and Access Management and related controls in an enterprise environment
- Experience with IAM Technologies and Processes (Federated Authentication, Web Single Sign On, SAML/OAuth, OpenID Connect, Web Access Management (WAM), Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Privileged Access Management (PxM/PAM), et
- Experience in SailPoint IdentityIQ, or other equivalent IAM technologies
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
- Solid understanding of security principles, tools, and processes
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills, and ability to multitask on competing priorities
- Great written and verbal communication
Preferred:
- Industry standard certification such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM
- Experience managing Identity and Access Management in AWS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Security Engineering/Related field desired
