Senior Platform Product Owner - Finance For Inland Services

In this role you will be supporting the Inland Platform as a Senior Platform Product Owner for all financial matters related to Transport Management. This includes functionality pertaining to PTP, OTC and ATR impacting the way we capture revenue and cost correctly whilst supplying relevant data flows to consuming systems and reports, ultimately leading to correct and compliant financial reporting. In Maersk Inland Platform we design and implement technical solutions for transportation on land - a growing part of our business.

Key responsibilities:

• Enable new or improve existing Inland Platform features related to Finance processes and interfaces

• Accountable for ensuring that these solutions are integrated so they contextually make sense in the overall e2e process for different brands, entities, and products

• Accountable for a smooth and efficient system handling of the financials. This includes the design of functionality such as:

- Supplier invoice processing including goods receipt and invoice matching

- Global standardization of our invoice scanning tools to improve Vendor Invoice Processing,

- Settlement and calculations of vendor transport in the system,

- Month-end closing including reports and dashboards,

- Integrations between SAP TMS and other systems to ensure correct bookkeeping, reporting, etc

- Reports, dashboards and data flows to management reporting tools like BW, Analytics Cloud etc.

• Support all other PPO's (from within and outside the Inland Platform) who have requirements regarding finance functionality in our Transportation Management Systems

• Ensure our solutions can easily be reused across other platforms, while promoting a standard, global template

Who we are looking for:

• Proven Product Owner capabilities (e.g. understand the role of a PO in terms of agile ways of working with systemic backlogs, writing user stories etc) or similar Business Analysis Experience

• Solid knowledge on finance functionality and processes, for instance as a Finance Business Partner, Consultant or Business Analyst

• Proven track record in implementing IT solutions

• Experience with and Insights into Finance processes, principles, and data

• A natural interest in technology, standardisation, and automation of processes

• Ability to drive engagement with senior stakeholders to mediate alignment between strategic business vision, business goals and technological / other priorities and limitations

• Ability to lead global sessions for users and process experts/process owners and engage them in a meaningful way to arrive at product features and solutions

• Understanding user needs/ insights as well as legal/statutory /compliance requirements and the ability to translate these to digital journeys, specifically to reduce manual interventions

• Ability to stay motivated in a fast-moving environment where priorities continuously shift and with pressure on delivering results

• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines consistently

You will join our existing team of experienced Platform Product Owners. Together we will be ensuring the success of the Transportation Management System both during the rollout to new countries as well as by ongoing improvements and changes for countries where the system is live.
