Job Title: Party Chief - Surveying (Consultant/Union) Location: Hicksville, New York (Hybrid/Onsite/Remote) Salary: upto $48/hrs Company Overview: Hirani Engineering and land surveying is a leading provider of comprehensive engineering and construction services in the Hicksville, New York area. Position Summary: As the Party Chief of Surveying, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing surveying activities for our engineering and construction projects.

This position offers a hybrid/remote work arrangement, providing you with flexibility in managing your responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: Surveying Leadership: Lead a team of surveyors in executing land surveying tasks accurately and efficiently. Ensure compliance with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Project Management: Plan, schedule, and coordinate surveying activities for various engineering and construction projects. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of surveying activities with overall project goals. Data Collection and Analysis: Oversee the collection of survey data using advanced surveying equipment and technologies.

Analyze and interpret survey data to generate accurate and detailed reports. Quality Control: Implement quality control measures to verify the accuracy and reliability of survey data. Conduct periodic reviews and audits to ensure compliance with established standards.

Technology Integration: Stay updated on the latest surveying technologies and recommend their integration into projects where applicable. Client Relationship Management: Act as a liaison between the company and clients, providing updates on surveying progress and addressing any concerns or inquiries. Safety and Compliance: Enforce and promote a culture of safety in surveying operations, ensuring adherence to all relevant safety protocols and regulations.

Documentation and Reporting: Prepare comprehensive survey reports, drawings, and documentation for internal and client review. Maintain accurate records of surveying activities and data.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or related field. Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license preferred not mandatory Minimum 5+ of experience in land surveying, in a leadership or supervisory role.

Proficiency in using advanced surveying equipment and software (e.g., total stations, GPS, GIS). Strong knowledge of surveying principles, practices, and techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
