Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior AI/ML Engineer to join our dynamic team. The individual in this role will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing sophisticated AI and ML solutions to address complex challenges in our industry. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and optimize AI/ML models and algorithms, ensuring high levels of accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and software engineers to understand and define AI/ML requirements for our products and applications.
- Design and implement scalable and efficient AI/ML models and algorithms to solve complex problems, leveraging techniques such as deep learning, reinforcement learning, and natural language processing.
- Conduct a thorough analysis of large datasets, extract relevant features, and preprocess data to optimize model performance.
- Develop and maintain accurate documentation of AI/ML models, including underlying assumptions, data sources, and limitations.
- Fine-tune and optimize AI/ML models to achieve high levels of accuracy and speed, utilizing techniques like hyperparameter tuning and model optimization.
- Lead research and development initiatives to explore emerging AI/ML technologies, frameworks, and libraries, and contribute to our intellectual property portfolio.
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate AI/ML models into production systems, ensuring seamless deployment and monitoring.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments and best practices in AI and ML, and share knowledge by mentoring junior team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in developing and implementing AI and ML solutions, with a strong focus on natural language processing, deep learning, and reinforcement learning.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in AI and ML, such as Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable AI/ML models, and deploying them in production environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to transform complex business problems into effective AI/ML solutions.
- Experience with big data processing frameworks like Apache Spark or Hadoop is a plus.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong research mindset, with a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest AI/ML advancements and applying them to real-world challenges.
