Senior Marketing Manager – Textile Manufacturing

Apex Mills, a specialty fabric and textile manufacturer with its design, development, and production all in the US, is hiring a Senior Marketing Manager with expertise in the Textile Manufacturing industry.

Reporting directly to the CEO, as our Senior Marketing Manager, you will:

• Work with the sales team to develop successful brand marketing strategies and campaigns that attract new customers and keep current clients.
• Oversee branding, advertising, and promotional campaigns.
• Review current marketing campaigns for weaknesses and develop solutions within budget constraints.
• Develop and manage the marketing department's budget.
• Coordinate trade show participation including booth assignment, creation, maintenance, and refurbishment, advertising, and vendor management.
• Conduct competitor research and provide regular updates to senior leaders.
• Identify potential new markets and create a plan to enter the market.
• Identify and target potential customers.
• Research demand for our products and services.
• Analyze data to evaluate the success of marketing efforts and optimize marketing strategies accordingly.
• Prepare and present monthly and annual reports to senior management.
• Oversee and approve marketing material, including sample books, website copy and banners, hard copy brochures and case studies.
• Network with peers in the industry to identify or refresh best marketing practices.
• Analyze market trends and prepare forecasts.
• Partner with product development and buying teams to estimate product demand.
• Collaborate with media organizations and advertising agencies.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• 6+ years of related strategic marketing experience for the specialty fabric and textile manufacturing industry.
• Robust understanding of traditional and emerging marketing channels.
• Solid working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and leveraging analytics.
• Expertise in trade show marketing, SEO/SEM, email marketing, programmatic advertising, and marketing funnels.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Teams, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service, organizational, and problem-solving skills and the ability to build rapport with clients by anticipating their needs.
