SUMMARY

As the Sr. Marketing Communications Manager, reporting to Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and distributing consistent messaging and branding throughout all communication touch points, including but not limited to: blog posts, social media promotions, website landing pages, eBooks, and email campaigns for both Bay Cities and DIYPack. In addition, you will research trends on consumer behavior, shopper marketing, CPG brands, sustainability, and more using primary and secondary research methods. 

You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and subject matter experts, including our marketing agency. When needed, you will assist the marketing team by creating content to promote programs and events that will create brand awareness, increase leads, and support the overall marketing strategy and customer journey. 


JOB FUNCTION/PURPOSE

Collaborate closely with the Marketing Director to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with company objectives.?

Assist in managing and overseeing marketing campaigns across various channels, ensuring timely execution and adherence to brand guidelines.?

Develop and execute integrated Marketing Communications strategies that align with company objectives and target audience.?

Create engaging content for various channels, including website, social media, blogs, email campaigns, press releases, digital advertising, and marketing materials.?

Craft compelling and consistent messaging that conveys the company's value proposition and resonates with the target audience.?

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design and sales, to ensure consistent and effective communication across all touchpoints.?

Manage and maintain the content calendar, ensuring timely delivery of content and alignment with marketing campaigns.?

Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and maintain a competitive edge.?

Implement SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines and drive organic traffic.?

Manage social media accounts, creating and scheduling engaging posts that drive audience engagement and growth.?

Proofread and edit content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and adherence to brand guidelines.?

Monitor and analyze the performance of communication campaigns using relevant metrics and analytics tools and provide suggestions for optimizing campaigns.?

Collaborate with external partners, agencies, and influencers to amplify brand reach and engagement.?

Stay up-to-date with emerging communication trends, tools, and technologies, and incorporate them into communication strategies.?

Provide support to the marketing team as needed and take ownership of specific projects.

Other responsibilities and projects as defined by the Marketing Director.

Requirements

  

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, or previous work experience in a similar area.

Minimum 6-8 years of experience in a similar role.

Experience in B2B marketing required. Additional experience in B2C marketing a plus.

Knowledge of creating strategic and engaging social media plans across various platforms.

Good understanding of Hubspot.

Ability to work in hybrid environment

Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to identify and articulate engaging and persuasive messages and content.

Self-starter mentality with the ability to work without much direction.

The ability and desire to thrive in a high-energy, fast-moving, cross-functional team culture.

Occasional travel up to 25%

Physical and Environmental Requirements: While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand and sit. The employee is occasionally required to walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 - 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision.

Work environment includes front-office and occasional visits to manufacturing facilities. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
