About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Manager of Total Rewards North America to serve as a strategic and hands on leader within the HR leadership team who will be responsible for the strategy, implementation, and daily execution of benefits, compensation and payroll. In this role, you will ensure payroll and the total rewards programs, including compensation and benefits, are competitive, align with the strategic objectives, reinforce culture and allow us to attract, and retain a diverse, impactful workforce.
This position is based at our HR Hub in Orlando, FL and reports to the Director of HR Shared Services with a dotted line to the Director of Total Rewards based in the UK.
Compensation for the opportunity is $115,000 annually plus bonus. Specific compensation is based on experience and skillset for the role.
Compensation-Lead compensation initiatives and programs, including reviewing and recommending an improved compensation philosophy and strategy, inclusive of salary bands, variable compensation, and incentives.
-Review positions against market data by supplying to salary surveys and using associated data as well as manage process for salary range structures.
-Leverage knowledge of market conditions and competitive talent landscape while driving fairness and compliance in pay practices and policies including around hiring and promotions.
-Provide guidance and recommendations to HR Business Partners and leaders around job analysis, job descriptions and appropriate compensation benchmarking.
Benefits
-Lead the design, development, implementation, communication, and administration of all employee benefits and wellness programs.
-Assess and analyze current trends and ensure benefits programs meet the evolving needs of our staff in an innovative, inclusive way.
-Manage vendor relationships to include ongoing evaluation for competitive offerings and efficiencies.
-Ensure company policies and protocols are in compliance with all relevant regulations (e.g., ERISA, ACA-related, HIPAA, records management, etc.).
Payroll
-Provide leadership for Payroll operations while measuring and assessing the effectiveness and efficiencies of the services provided
-Oversee payroll operations, including ensuring accurate and efficient multi-state payroll processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
-Support compliance with US and foreign securities regulations and tax requirements, and month-end, quarter-end and year-end close procedures
-Ensure all payroll related tax filings are completed timely and accurately, including the creation of new accounts with various federal and state agencies as required; Work with tax agencies and payroll service providers to resolve tax issues
-Identify recommendations to scale processes to enhance payroll operational efficiency including the design and implementation of internal controls and maintain payroll policies and procedures
-Audit payroll transactions to ensure all amounts and payment dates are accurate
-Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of payroll transactions.
Required Skills/Abilities
-Strong project management skills, excellent written communication skills and effective execution skills to ensure successful implementation of initiatives, processes, and policies.
-Excellent strategic, analytical, and financial skills.
-Strong technical skills including experience using HRIS and compensation tools.
-Expert at analyzing compensation surveys and market data, understand trends and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis.
-Acts with curiosity and takes the initiative to identify problems, offer creative solutions and resolve issues.
-Excellent collaborative skills with the ability to communicate proactively and cultivate positive relationships and work effectively with employees all levels throughout the organization.
-Detailed knowledge of employment laws related to benefits and compensation such as FMLA, COBRA, ADA, ERISA and other federal, state and local laws.
Education and Experience
-Bachelor's Degree; Master's Degree or MBA in Human Resources Management or related field preferred.
-7+ years of progressive work experience in total rewards including benefits and compensation.
-3+ years managing a team.
-UKG experience preferred
-Multi-state experience required
