About the Role

As part of PHNTM’s Growth team, you’ll be responsible for expanding our client base with top tier gaming brands, organizations, and talent. Through your existing relationships, research, strategic sales outreach, and the Growth team. You’ll develop meaningful connections with clients to drive new business opportunities for PHNTM’s unparalleled expertise in technology, production, and creative services to expand across the gaming industry.

We are looking for someone who is dynamic, intuitive, and results-driven. A love of marketing, culture, technology and art is just as important as strong sales skills and industry expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Drive incremental revenue opportunities for PHNTM through proactive outreach, relationship development, and strategic pitching to target clients

  • Develop relationships with key decision makers in target verticals - specifically the video game industry

  • Optimize our sales lifecycle and processes, striving for efficiency and efficacy

  • Manage and negotiate services agreements and contracts with clients

  • Confidently lead capabilities meetings with potential clients by collating research from Sales Executives, developing key insights on new business leads and prospects, creating custom materials, informing pitch creative, and more

  • Oversee the completion of new incoming RFP documents and project manage the new business pipeline

  • Ensure PHNTM’s sales materials have a competitive advantage in the marketplace through ongoing analysis of the industry landscape


Desired Qualifications

  • 4+ years of sales or Business Development experience brand and/or agency

  • Knowledge of production across events, content, film, and technology — and eager to learn and share PHNTM’s unique capabilities

  • Strong relationships with key decision makers within target client organizations

  • Phenomenal public speaking skills — you can lead and close a pitch meeting with confidence and ease

  • Proactive, persistent, positive attitude toward following up with potential clients and diligently tracking progress

  • A passion for connection, communication, and creating value for clients

  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and analytical skills

  • Mastery of Google Workspace, understanding of other task management programs (Slack, Asana, etc.), and ability to learn new business software quickly

  • Proficient in research regarding target audiences, consumer behavior, and trends.

  • Excellent attention to detail and flexibility within a dynamic workplace

  • Motivated self-starter mindset — can identify action items in the face of ambiguity, consult with team members when needed, and prioritize multiple responsibilities

  • Previous experience in a high-pressure and fast-paced environment is preferred

  • Collaborative team player with low ego

  • Passion for positively impacting culture through innovative work

  • Must reside in the Los Angeles metropolitan region - this is a hybrid role, working 3 days a week out of our DTLA office.


Compensation

The annual base salary is between $90,000 - $130,000, plus commission.
