We're seeking a Lab Planner for our Boston, MA Office to team up with Project Managers and the Director of Lab Planning. This position has growth opportunity for your career as you'll work and report directly to the Lab Group Manager to Program, planning a detailed layout of lab equipment for fit up projects. Some of our exciting Project types may include laboratory (including vivarium) biotech, pharmaceutical, electronics, clean rooms, academic, biomedical or other research institutions.
Our Lab Projects are unique in that they are highly fast pace and require us to work closely with clients, scientists, researchers and end-users to create plans and program layouts of lab equipment; coordinates and integrate all other discipline elements into unified design for client review and approval. You'll be on site to conduct equipment surveys for scope of projects, observation of installation of lab equipment with ongoing monitoring the development, changes and tracking adjustments.
You'll participate in on-going development of lab standards and programming/planning tools. Along with prepare program documents that may include; program matrix or space list, process flow diagrams, room cards, room data sheets, adjacency diagram/matrix/chart, meeting notes, equipment notes, equipment matrix, fit plans or equipment layouts. Prepare equipment drawings and coordinate specification documents for the Conceptual, Schematic, Design Development and Construction Documents Phase of a project while conforming to budgets and schedules.

- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or Interior Design or Lab related degree
- Experience managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination.
- Extensive lab planning expeience
- Demonstrated program experience in the usage of Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to travel to project sites in the Greater Boston Area
