Supporting the U.S. Army Futures Command under DEVCOM, we are architecting and designing an innovative, scalable, flexible and secure Enterprise Research Engineering Network to serve as the backbone for the DEVCOM C5ISR Center. We will design a network that will foster varying levels of collaboration, information sharing, and scientific research with mission, industry and academic partners in various states of maturity. This network will be in support of the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Center to produce a network that facilitates advanced engineering, prototypes, investigations, experimentation and tests. The new architecture and design will accelerate adoption of zero trust principles, become data centric, apply foundational technology and research area protection, and include dynamic flexibility to rapidly connect isolated users.
What is the position?
As a Senior ICAM Engineer, you will lead and oversee identity credentialing and access management initiatives in cloud environments, with a particular focus on Azure identity solutions and other Identity solutions. You will serve as our subject matter expert in how to effectively use these solutions in the cloud. This is a hybrid work environment consisting of some remote and some onsite. Some travel is involved to Maryland, Virginia, and New Jersey. The Contractor will be required to make trips to customer locations as needed within the U.S.
What will I get to do?
You will lead the design and implementation of cloud-based Identity Credentialing and Access Management solutions, with an emphasis on Azure Active Directory (AAD) and other Identity solutions. You will develop and enforce access control policies and procedures in cloud environments, leveraging AAD and related tools. You will collaborate with clients to understand identity and access management requirements and provide expert guidance on Azure identity solutions. You will evaluate and recommend ICAM technologies, including AAD and other relevant solutions, based on best practices. You will monitor and audit access controls using Azure identity solutions to ensure compliance with security standards. You will stay current with emerging cloud ICAM technologies, especially Azure identity solutions, and industry trends and serve as the go-to subject matter expert on Azure identity solutions within the organization.

Compensation
$110,609.43 - $182,506.63
The pay range for this job is determined by various factors, including but not necessarily limited to location, responsibilities of the job, and alignment with market data. When determining a salary for this role, the following factors may be taken into consideration - contract-specific affordability, education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience. What qualifications do I need?
- Secret Clearance
- MA/MS with 10 years of experience as a Senior Engineer or 12 years with BS/BA.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in Identity Credentialing and Access Management, with a strong focus on Azure identity solutions and other Identity solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of Azure Active Directory (AAD) and related Azure identity solutions.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in IAM (Identity and Access Management) tools and technologies, especially those related to Azure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CIAM, CISM, CISA, Azure certifications) preferred.
