JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist (Sr. HR Generalist) who will administer and collaborate on strategic initiatives for our Human Resources needs. This position is eligible for remote work, however, some support may require an onsite presence and we are seeking candidates located in either Las Vegas, NV or Phoenix, AZ.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
  • Employee Relations - Responds to employee relation matters such as corrective actions, complaints, harassment, or discrimination and unemployment claim administration.
  • Benefits Administration - FMLA, ADA, LOA, WC oversight. Acts as safety coordinator for covid-19 requirements, protocols, and processes. Employee Inquiries, open enrollment communication and supports leadership with performance evaluation process.
  • HR Compliance - Stays up-to-date and compliant with changes in HR legislation.
  • HR Initiatives & Culture - Supports assigned areas of responsibility. Is a role model who promotes our Mission, Core Values and Culture.
  • HR Policy Management - Serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all internal HR policy development, management & interpretation.
  • Compensation - Assist with compensation plan changes, supporting & educating field leaders and assisting with annual merit process.
  • HRIS System & Reporting - Runs and analyzes data reports and assists with new HR system or modules enhancements.
  • Leadership Orientations & Off-boarding - Supports New Field Operation's Leaders during onboarding, conducts stay interviews and oversees separation process to ensure compliance.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE MOST SUCCESSFUL:

EDUCATION, YEARS OF EXPERIENCE/CERTIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma is Required. An Associates or bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, management, or similar field is preferred.
  • At Least 5 years of experience working in an HR Generalist function.
  • HRCI or SHRM (SPHR/PHR) certification is preferred.
  • Work Experience or earned Certification related to California (CA) Employment Law is highly desirable.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Current, in-depth knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, team member relations, analytics, performance management, workers' compensation, and federal and state respective employment laws
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and procedures, to include state and federal wage and hour laws is required.
  • Strong consultative, coaching, and analytical skills
  • Strong Business Acumen and Project Management skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office, MS Office skills including Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Prior experience navigating Human Resources Management Systems (HRIS), such as ADP, is required.
  • Ability to communicate and support all levels within the organization.
  • Ability to make decisions, solve problems and maintain confidentiality is required.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively and work autonomously.
  • Possession of Bi-lingual skills in both English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time to support employees is required.
