Job Description
Position Overview:
Reporting to the Director of Total Rewards, the Senior HRIS Analyst will support our HR team, other internal business partners, and company management in the development, on-going maintenance, and operational and technical support of all aspects of the UltiPro HCM system. This person is expected to take a critical role in the design, implementation, deployment, and documentation of key HR projects that leverage the UltiPro platform or related third-party vendor applications. This role will work with internal and external partners to assess business and system processes, recommend application or software solutions, as well as expand capabilities of existing HRIS systems.
Key Job Responsibilities:
System Support
- Partner with function owners and stakeholders to gather requirements for process improvements, and, once prioritized, configure, test, and deploy those solutions
- Manage UltiPro releases and updates, including researching functionality, identifying areas of impact, conducting testing, and educating the Human Resources and Payroll teams on enhancements
- Own the relationship with our third-party implementation partner and drive the prioritization of enhancements and fixes
- Configure, enhance, and support various UltiPro modules including Benefits, Compensation, Absence, Learning, Time & Attendance and Payroll.
- Ensure data integrity and organizational alignment for DSC's data structures
- Develop documentation and training materials for new and existing processes
- Serve as a UltiPro ambassador within DSC by driving user adoption internally through educating and training users, and externally by participating in the UltiPro community
- Maintain user security and systems access for the organization including implementing new security groups to enable functionality such as employee self-service
- Configure and support internal/external systems integrations independently or in collaboration with our third-party partner on an as-needed basis
- Serve as the UltiPro system expert and primary point-of-contact for day-to-day support of business processes, integrations, reporting, and dashboards to ensure consistent, high-quality business operations
- Partner with our HR team and other internal stakeholders to help them define business requirements, implement, test, and deploy additional modules, changes to business processes, or integrations as needed
- Conduct long-term improvement projects to ensure compatibility with the company’s evolving business applications landscape and needs
- Track, configure and maintain UltiPro timeclocks
Compliance and Reporting
- Create custom reports and dashboards, and serve as the point of contact for ad hoc report requests
- Develop system reporting and analytics to enable our HR business partners to identify trends and to empower leadership decision-making
- Complete annual reports or other compliance related activities, such as EEO-1, Affirmative Action, ACA compliance, etc…
- Ensure that procedures are followed and adequate internal controls are maintained
Data Management
- Assists HR users in data entry activities, reviews work and advises of errors.
- Perform ongoing reconciliations and audits of HR data to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the development, testing and maintenance of interfaces to and from UltiPro and ensure data is accurate and passed in a secured manner.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Analytics or related field
- 5+ years of professional experience, with 4 years in an HRIS role (UltiPro preferred, but not required)
- Expertise in project management methodologies and familiarity with process improvement principles
- Advanced experience working with an enterprise HR System; UltiPro experience preferred
- Deep understanding of standard Human Resources business processes as they relate to an HRIS system
- Advanced computer skills required; strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products; specifically, Excel
- Experience working with confidential information and critical business operations and processes
- High attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business requirements or objectives
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with aggressive timelines and delivery dates
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to set clear expectations with stakeholders and escalate issues as needed
