Senior HR Associate – Global Financial Firm
A leading, global asset management firm is seeking a Senior HR Associate or Associate Director of HR to add to their growing team.

The office is located in Midtown East and allows for 1 remote/work from home day per week.
Salary is commensurate to experience - $130-150k base + generous discretionary bonus + top benefits
Primary Responsibilities: The Senior Associate, Human Resources is responsible for managing day-to-day global HR business processes.
- Leading the 5 person HR team in managing the full employee experience, from on-boarding to exit management, ensuring all processes are performed in a timely, efficient and client-centered manner
- Handle payroll and own annual audits along with the other Associate Director of HR
- Act as a first-line "go-to" for employee inquiries about GTAM policies, resources and programs, independently resolving requests
- HR communications and reporting, along with the team, deliver key data insights for the function
- Lead the design of an iterative HR communications plan with the goal of ensuring that all HR-related information including Benefits, Promotions, Annual Performance Reviews, Training & Development and others are effectively cascaded throughout the organization, ensuring increased transparency for our team
- Resolve benefits queries
- Directly partner with C suite Executives
- Create reports and providing high-level analyses to inform initiatives and strategies
- Implement global HR initiatives, identify and create streamlined and scalable process improvements across the function
- Act as liaison for GoldenTree staff and vendors with regard to answering benefit questions, payroll questions, handling other issues that arise
- Work closely with business development group
- Ad hoc projects
Required Background:
- 5 + years’ experience in a Human Resource role with financial services experience
- Experience running/managing payroll
- ADP or another HRIS system
- . Four year college degree desired.
- Strong service orientation and positive attitude a must.
- Superior interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communications skills.
- Attention to detail, appropriate follow-up to with staff and vendors required. Ability to handle multiple issues concurrently is required.
- Ability to interface effectively and professionally with all levels of employees.
- Computer proficiency required; knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
