Job Description
We have direct hire openings for Security Traffic Officers in downtown Bellevue with a company that owns and manages several properties with retail stores, restaurants, and more.
Security Traffic Officers will ensure vehicles and pedestrians are safe when they enter and exit the parking garages.
Pay and Schedule Information:
1st shift: 6 am-2:45 pm
- Pay: $23.50
2nd shift: 2:30 pm-11:15 pm
- Pay: $23.50
Job Duties of the Security Traffic Officer:
- Direct vehicles that enter or exit the parking garages and keep traffic flowing smoothly on the drive lanes in the garages
- Issue parking citations to enforce parking regulations and ensure parking areas are used correctly
- Assist with traffic flagging duties as needed to ensure traffic flows smoothly and safely (Certification provided)
- Assist pedestrian traffic that crosses drive lanes from the parking garages to retail areas of Bellevue Square/ Lincoln Square
- Validate parking passes for employees at designated off-site parking lots
- Bring a resolution to accidents in the garage, obtain all pertinent information from parties involved, identify witnesses, etc.
- Patrol properties on foot, bike, Segway, or by company vehicle to monitor and inspect for suspicious activities and ensure the safety of the property
- Respond promptly to calls, alarms, and other emergency situations to maintain the security of the property
- Enforce private property rules to ensure that visitors comply with the regulations
- Be professional at all times when interacting with the public to provide quality customer service
- Use excellent communication skills to de-escalate situations and prevent potential conflicts
- Communicate with dispatch using a two-way radio
- Document each situation in the system to ensure that accurate records are maintained and that the incidents are appropriately tracked and addressed
