Job Description
ICMS LLC, an innovative Professional and Technical services provider to the Federal Government, is seeking a friendly and professional Part-Time Unarmed Security Guard. Additional coverage may be requested, as needed including 2nd and 3rd Shifts and holidays.
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors when they enter the building and guide them to their designated areas.
- Process important queries and manage customer expectations politely and friendly
- Verify access badges
- Monitor building conditions; notify appropriate facilities/ custodial personnel of issues
- Conduct facility tours to verify security of access/egress and grounds, assess and review condition of operation equipment and document readings. Monitor parking areas and security cameras for anomalies or security issues.
- Keep track of visitors and coordinate with onsite staff for escorting.
- Answer telephones and monitor the security office.
- Maintain control of all keys. This includes logging the keys in and out.
- Maintain a clean and pleasant environment. Support the removal of accumulated snow or treatment of icy surfaces when applicable.
- May be required to lift to 25 lbs.
- Minimum of 2+ year’s client-facing experience.
- Performs dismounted foot patrols throughout the campus. Applicants need to have the physical capacity to walk up to 5 miles per shift.
- Ability to pass a federal government background check.
- Basic computer literacy skills and talent for technology.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent knowledge of local attractions and establishments.
- Polite, friendly, and self-assured attitude.
- Skills in multitasking and good time-management.
- Good attention to detail
- Track record of dependability and punctuality
Shifts:
· Fridays: 12 am to 8am.
On Call Fill in for Vacations or Call Ins.
