YOUR ROLE

We recognize that the customer experience you provide every day to several customers to solve a myriad of challenges is an important competitive advantage for Kuehne+Nagel. This position is located in Media, PA and you will report to the Sea Logistics Reefer Manager.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process all documents for reefer shipments in compliance with USCBP and Import regulations.
- Handle shipments from the time we receive a pre-advise from Kuehne+Nagel origin station, making payments to carriers and vendors, working with internal or external brokers and arranging last mile delivery and POD.
- Customer Care and Satisfaction: Proactive advice and consultancy, ensuring Customer satisfaction.;
- Shipment Management Qualification and entry of Customer orders into Operational process.
- Complaint Management.
- Support Customer Development & Maintenance.
- Close cooperation with Branch & Area management and Sea Logistics operations for an enhanced customer experience.
- Profit Maximization - avoid additional costs & expenses due to internal service failure.
- Financial Excellence & Development.
- Quotation Management: Qualification of Customer inquiries, provide Kuehne+Nagel quotations and updates, set final selling price with individual adjustments within the given price band and following the national leeway in decision-making (Empowerment).
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics or similar field
- 2 or more years of Sea Logistics Freight Forwarding experience.
- GDP/GMP, DG and reefer business experience preferred.
- Bilingual Spanish preferred
