School Program Manager

The role of this person will be to create & manage relationships between cosmetology schools & brands. They will be the main point of contact for all school account needs & program development. They will be responsible to submit requests for school educator training events, education materials & curriculum to the appropriate division. They will work closely with the Program Director to create programs specifically for schools & students, as well as making sure curriculum is eligible for CE credits within the states that require it for both school instructors & stylists. They will handle all follow up, future development and sales orders from schools as needed. They will also be responsible to form partnerships with companies such as Milady & Pivot Point to help develop advanced textbook curriculum. They will work with the Events Director & Training Development Manager to make sure requests for trainings and processes for educator trainings align with other best practices within B.I.G. They will meet with the other heads of the divisions once a week to make sure they are aligned across divisions. They will meet with the VP of Education each week for help & coaching and report directly to the VP of Education. Responsibilities of the role include the following:

· Cosmetology School Development

Cultivate and nurture relationships with cosmetology schools to establish and develop collaborative partnerships. Collaborate with educators and administrators to understand their curriculum needs and integrate our hair extensions training seamlessly into their programs. Support each school with proven strategies to build and retain new client business in the category. Establish feedback loops with schools and students to continuously improve and refine training programs. Stay informed about industry trends and innovations to incorporate the latest practices into educational offerings.

· Educator and Student Training

Plan training sessions for cosmetology school educators or students, ensuring they are well-versed in the latest trends, techniques, and product knowledge related to hair extensions. Provide ongoing support to educators and students, addressing any challenges and ensuring a high standard of education.

· Department Integration

Collaborate with other divisions of the BIG education team to create curriculum, promotional marketing materials, trainings, and partnership assets for cosmetology schools, state and federal campaigns, and influencer programs. Represent the company at some industry events and conferences to promote our commitment to beauty education.

· Partnership Development

Identify and develop opportunities with key manufacturers, textbook companies, industry wide influencers, as well as state and federal agencies to reach a larger audience, create more recognition for continuing education credits, and establish new innovative products and education for hair extensions within the industry.
