School Based Home Care Aide HCA are members of the interdisciplinary team who provide hands-on personal care, report changes in the client’s condition, perform simple procedures as an extension of therapy or nursing services, and provide incidental/instrumental activities of daily living to clients in the home setting as evaluated/delegated and as permitted by the policies and procedures of Interim HealthCare and any other federal, state and local law or regulation.

• Location(s): New Milford, PA
• Specialty: Autism, ADHD, various other special needs
• Day(s): Monday through Friday, no weekends or holidays
• Starting rate of $14 per hour
• Health Insurance after 90 days
• Referral Bonus Program
• Weekly Pay via check or direct deposit

Essential Functions of the School Based Home Care Aide HCA:

• Attend school with a pediatric client
• Potential travel with client from home to school and school to home
• Report any incidents to classroom teacher and designated supervisor
• Follow care plan and maintain proper documentation according to Pennsylvania State Laws
• Follow HIPAA standards
• Most importantly provide quality care and a safe environment

Minimum Requirements for the School Based Home Care Aide HCA:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Six (6) months of accumulated experience in a similar job classification; required.
• Reliable form of transportation; required.
• Willing to undergo pre-employment screenings.
