Niyam is seeking a Salesforce Cloud Engineer to join our team in support of our work with FEMA. We offer competitive compensation and benefits.  Position experience in Salesforce CICD is required. This position is remote, but may require occasional onsite meetings in DC. DC/Northern VA area is preferred. 

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of Salesforce.com (SFDC) including complex configuration, customization, and implementation of applications and 3rd party integrations
• Participate in application design, configuration, testing and deployment
• Participate in efforts to develop and execute testing, training and documentation
• Utilize best practices to perform operational support, enhancements, bug fixes as needed to the Salesforce.com platform
• Follow all standard operating procedures (SOP) and maintain updated ticketing for events, incidents, requests, changes, problems, etc.
• Proactively engage on continuous improvement efforts for application design, support, and practice development efforts
• Provide technical assistance and end user troubleshooting for bug fixes, enhancements, and “how-to” assistance
• Provide cloud-based solutions and support migration (including engineering and configuration management) of on-premises datacenters and application to cloud-based alternatives using both Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS)
• Evaluate legacy systems for cloud migration and recommend target environments
• Specialize in delivering cloud-based architectures and applications
• Deploy assets via Infrastructure as Code
• Provide user support for cloud solutions
• Secure cloud architectures in compliance with FEMA guidelines
• Develop, implement, and manage automated software source control in industry standard platforms such as Jenkins and/or TFS

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher and at least 7 years of experience. At least 3 years of experience with DevOps
• 7+ years of experience in software development and/or programming design and systems management
• At least 6 years of experience with customization on the Salesforce Lightning platform which should include: Lightning Components using the Lightning Design System framework, Apex, and declarative platform tools. (Process Builder, Visual Workflow, Lightning App Builder, etc.)
• 3 years of experience with Implementations of Service Cloud Features - Omni Channel , Live Agent, Case Managemento4+ years of technical team leadership Experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in solution design
• Experience with Salesforce Government Cloud product suite highly desired
• Candidate must be able to supply proof of US Citizenship

PREFERRED SKILLS

• Familiarity with Software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and communicate key performance indicators to all levels of the company
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II preferred
• Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator preferred
• 3 years’ experience, including experience deploying web services, databases, and applications servers/services in one or more cloud architectures (Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS)
• Experience as DevOps Engineer, including containerization-based software deployment
• Experience working with federal clients a plus
