Our Sales Floor Team Lead is responsible for assisting store management in coordinating and overseeing the overall sales operations, as well as ensuring sales quotas are fulfilled. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for multiple team members to ensure productivity, supporting and executing store and company policies and procedures, and assisting in the training and development of staff to build a stronger retail team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to advance into an Assistant Manager position soon.

Compensation:

• Starting window of pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour, and up (pay negotiated based on experience)

Essential Job Functions and Duties:

• Assist in supervising the team’s productivity and engagement of customers
• Performs opening and closing duties when necessary
• Ensures daily recovery of product is completed
• Assists in daily planning and execution
• Effectively communicates daily business needs and concerns to appropriate points of contact
• Assists in weekly floor changes
• Ensures daily assigned tasks are completed
• Assists and executes visual merchandising in store
• Follows safety protocols and communicates to ensure a safe work environment
• Learn and assist in a supportive role where needed to fulfill various business needs
• May serve as a keyholder when needed

Requirements:

Working Conditions:

• Standing for the duration of your shift
• Lifting up to 30 lbs. in material weight, unassisted
• Frequent walking and standing
• Frequent bending, stooping and kneeling, merchandise goods, and cleaning
• Fast-paced environment; moderate noise level
• Occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Operation of a pallet jack and other material handling equipment preferred
• Understanding of general retail merchandise types and values
• Previous merchandising and stocking experience preferred
• Previous retail leadership experience preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
