RN/LPN PRN 7A-7P

Position Title: PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary: As a PRN LPN/RN, you will provide nursing care and support on an as-needed basis to meet the fluctuating demands of the healthcare facility. Your responsibilities may include assisting physicians, implementing care plans, administering medications, and maintaining accurate medical records. This position requires flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively in various healthcare settings.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing protocols and physician orders.
2. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
3. Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting any changes or abnormalities to the appropriate medical personnel.
4. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including nursing assessments, care plans, and progress notes.
6. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
7. Assist in the implementation of nursing care plans and procedures.
8. Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures, conditions, and self-care.
9. Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities to stay current with nursing practices and regulations.

Qualifications:

1. Current and valid LPN or RN license.
2. Previous nursing experience in a clinical or hospital setting.
3. Strong clinical and critical thinking skills.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic healthcare environment.
6. Flexibility to adapt to varying work schedules and assignments.

Working Conditions: Must be able to work one weekend a month, and one day per week.
