Pinpoint Talent is seeking a Revenue Accountant

Pinpoint Talent has an immediate and fully remote (or flexible hybrid) opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional to join our client’s established team.

About the Revenue Accountant:

As a Revenue Accountant reporting to the revenue manager, you will play a crucial role in helping our client understand and optimize their revenue streams. Your work will involve a combination of financial analysis, reporting, and compliance to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of revenue-related processes.

• Work Schedule: Monday through Friday (8:00am/8:30am - 5:00pm/5:30pm)

• Duration: The anticipated duration before converting from temporary to full-time is 5-6 months.

• Hourly Pay Rate (as a Temporary): $40.00-$43.00/hr

• Location: “Fully Remote” or “Flexible Hybrid” work options are avaiable (San Francisco, CA)

Requirements of the Revenue Accountant:

• B.S. in Accounting, Finance, Business, or equivalent degree.

• 3+ yrs of experience in revenue accounting including; Revenue Recognition ASC 606, Contract Review, Account Reconciliation, Deferred, Contract and Unbilled revenue.

• 3+ yrs of experience in accounts receivable and billing, including but not limited to cash applications, customer deposits, and overpayments, as well as debits and credits.

• Intermediate to advanced excel skills including Pivot Tables and Vlookups

• Experience with ERP software (Netsuite experience is preferred but not required)
  

Responsibilities of the Revenue Accountant:

• Tracking, analyzing and reconciling revenue

• Compiling detailed revenue information, preparing financial reports, and ensuring invoice accuracy

• Performing audits, identifying errors, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations

• Managing revenue adjustments, recognition, and accounting, as well as creating and processing revenue documents

• Monitoring client payments, resolving billing discrepancies, and maintaining client partnerships to generate revenue
