A Day in the Life of a Retail/Clothing Manager at Harley Davidson!
As a Retail/Clothing Manager here at Lakeshore Harley Davidson, we are looking for a self-directed leader with a growth mindset and hunger to roll the throttle on the motor clothes department. On a typical day, you will work closely one on one with each member or your team to ensure maximum productivity by training, assisting, and leading by example. A manager will set up and maintain a smooth running, efficient, and appealing retail environment by designing displays, developing/regulating promotions, and providing superior customer service to all customers. Your goal will be to grow the volume of merchandise sales and develop objectives for the department.
Other Duties Include:
- Maximizing return on investment of general merchandise inventory
- Set sound management practices to contribute acceptable levels of gross and net profits
- Maintain budgeted revenue and expense objectives
- Benchmarking other retailers to determine best practice standards
- Providing reports to the dealer principal and/or general manager
- Handling customer complaints with empathy and a positive attitude
- Sell and provide the fun and excitement of the Harley Davidson brand for your team and customers!
