Summary/objective
To safely and efficiently, load, secure, transport and deliver a variety of flooring related productrs
Essential functions:

- Create a logical and efficient route, with approval of the store manager, for delivering to one, or multiple jobsite locations, and/or pick-ups from other store locations and local vendors as needed
- Load materials onto a truck, trailer, van, or other similar vehicle using a forklift, pallet jack, or by hand, depending on the material and situation
- Pick up materials as scheduled from other store locations and/or local vendors ensuring that the proper items are loaded according to the coordinating paperwork
- Secure the load for safe transport, using ratchet straps, ropes, bungee cords, etc. as needed to minimize the possibility of damaged material during transport
- Load and secure a forklift to the airtow trailer for transport to the job site as needed, using safety equipment provided, including but not limited to heavy duty ratchet straps, chains, come-alongs, etc.
- Drive to the designated job sites using safe driving techniques such as situational awareness, and defensive driving, while obeying all traffic laws and speed limits.
- Unload materials at the job site using an appropriate method, and according to company policy, while supplying excellent customer service, and ensuring the safety of the equipment, material, and surroundings
- Ensure that all paperwork is properly completed by both yourself, vendors, other store personnel, and customers, then turned into the warehouse supervisor or store manager as appropriate
- Return to the store/warehouse in a timely manner upon successfully completing all planned deliveries/pickups
- Perform various tasks as within the store/warehouse as needed

Supervisory responsibilities: None
Work environment: Warehouse, Truck and Customer's homes
Physical demands: Must be able to bend and lift, up to 75 pounds repeatedly
Travel required: daily driving in the greater Sacramento area - home every night
Required education and experience
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Google Suite or Microsoft
- Class C Driver License
Preferred education and experience
- Forklift certified
- Experience pulling a standard trailer
