Residential Aide

The ideal candidate must be flexible to work 2nd shift and 3rd shift (4 pm to midnight).

We are currently searching for a dynamic individuals to become the Residential Aides (STAR and WRU) for the unit. This position participates as a team member of the assigned unit, assisting counseling staff in providing a variety of alcohol and drug related services by performing the following duties.

All positions require pre-employment drug screening and background check.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Assists in maintaining unit in an organized, clean and efficient manner.
• Transports clients to and from appointments, support groups, employment searches, etc.
• Maintains security of assigned unit in accordance with CTP policy and procedure.
• Responsible for immediately reporting child abuse or neglect to unit supervisor and/or area director when applicable.
• Monitors clients and their activities. Accurately documents activities of each client during assigned shift.
• Responsible for reporting all client infractions, concerns or problems to primary counselor or supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Requires High School Diploma or GED.

Experience:

Must be able to demonstrate a willingness to learn the dynamics of substance abuse and its effects.

Prefer prior experience working in a substance abuse setting, or human service agency.
