JOB SUMMARY

Resident Care Coordinators manage a team in the care of our residents. They are well-versed in the unique challenges our residents may experience and are able to care for them in a calm and loving manner.

SCHEDULE: Tuesday - Saturday

POSITION OVERVIEW

§ Manage the staffing needs of the team by interviewing, hiring, training, supervision and scheduling of care managers

§ Assure care staff is educated in the needs of residents and are knowledgeable of the resident’s negotiated care plan and task/assignment sheets

§ Ensure resident care is being provided by weekly monitoring of all resident suites and daily walk-through of the memory care areas

§ On-call duties for staffing and scheduling; work when other Care Managers are not available to avoid staffing shortages and to ensure care is provided and coverage of those positions in cases of emergency

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Demonstration of our Core Values: Love, Kindness, Honesty, Goodness, Fairness, Respect.

· Successful completion of state approved medication administration training, first aid certification and other requirements as applicable by state.

· 2+ years of health related experience in long-term care or assisted living supervisory and people management experience.
