The Seagate Hotel & Spa is currently looking for an experienced Reservation/PBX Agent to work at our upscale luxury resort. This position will be responsible for answering direct calls and routing them to their proper locations in a polite accurate and timely manner and makeing guest reservations processing booking information into the Property Management System (PMS) via telephone email, written, and web correspondence.
Essential Functions
- Required to be able to work varying schedules from time to time. All employees are required to attend all scheduled training and departmental sessions.
- Arrive in assigned work area on time in full, clean pressed assigned uniform for scheduled shift.
- Perform and complete any and all assigned tasks by management.
- Be totally familiar with hotel operations/locations and be able to direct guest and answer guest questions of general facility.
- Must be able to sit up to 8 hours at a desk.
- Must be able to spend extended lengths of time viewing a computer screen.
- Must possess good computer operating knowledge.
- Ability to read and write necessary department reports.
- Ability run appropriate daily reports.
- Ability to be persuasive and outgoing with reservation requests.
- Assist Front Desk as needed with guest check in or departures.
- Ability to perform cash operating procedures.

- Be out going, friendly and patient.
- Handle multiple requests with poise, accuracy and timeliness.
- Understand and practice the policies of The Seagate Hotel & Spa.

- Work long hours when necessary and flexible with schedule. Be able to work weekends, nights, holidays as necessary.
- Stand, sit, walk for extend hours, lift, carry and push up to 40 plus pounds.
