A Rental Administrator is responsible for assisting customers (internal & external) in providing rental equipment appropriate to their needs while working with sales and service teams to ensure effective response.

Position responsibilities:

• Take phone calls for rental equipment.

• Fill customer and internal requests – check all resources if equipment isn’t readily available in fleet.

• Work with outside freight carriers for out of state shipments.

• Place orders for any re-rents from outside vendors.

• Prepare and follow up on rental quotes.

• Enter hour meter readings in system on rental contracts; manage readings on long term rentals.

• Close and invoice rental orders.

• Initiate rental orders and generate/distribute shippers.

• Process vendor invoices for payment

• Manage the check in and check out of each rental and ensure that all attachments (forks, LP tanks, attachments, etc.) are returned at check in.

• Review the general condition of rental equipment upon return and make sure damages are billed to customer if appropriate (coordinate through service dept).

• Maintain rental equipment status in Quipware.

• Ensure all rentals are ready to go per customer’s delivery request.

• Assist credit department with customer billing issues

• Performs other duties as assigned

• Demonstrated customer service orientation.

• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Good computer proficiency

• Demonstrated knowledge of material handling equipment
