This position is based out of our Brookfield, WI facility and will be responsible for supporting our rental department. A Rental Administrator is responsible for assisting customers (internal & external) in providing rental equipment appropriate to their needs while working with sales and service teams to ensure effective response.
Position responsibilities:
Take phone calls for rental equipment.
Fill customer and internal requests – check all resources if equipment isn’t readily available in fleet.
Work with outside freight carriers for out of state shipments.
Place orders for any re-rents from outside vendors.
Prepare and follow up on rental quotes.
Enter hour meter readings in system on rental contracts; manage readings on long term rentals.
Close and invoice rental orders.
Initiate rental orders and generate/distribute shippers.
Process vendor invoices for payment
Manage the check in and check out of each rental and ensure that all attachments (forks, LP tanks, attachments, etc.) are returned at check in.
Review the general condition of rental equipment upon return and make sure damages are billed to customer if appropriate (coordinate through service dept).
Maintain rental equipment status in Quipware.
Ensure all rentals are ready to go per customer’s delivery request.
Assist credit department with customer billing issues
Performs other duties as assigned

Demonstrated customer service orientation.
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Good computer proficiency
Demonstrated knowledge of material handling equipment
