Responsibilities
Maintain supplier relationships, also including negotiation of pricing, determining product availability, and arrangements/agreements on delivery schedules
Identify new suppliers, establish payment terms, compilation and execution of supplier surveys and supply agreements
Obtain RMA for incorrect, defective and materials not required. Process return back to supplier
Manual audit and replenish of facility supplies
Conversion of system and manual requisitions to purchase. Issuance of Purchase Orders, obtain supplier acknowledgement
Monitor and expedite purchase orders to ensure committed delivery dates are met and/or pull-in shipments as/if needed
Resolve shipment errors with suppliers and assist AP issues to ensure timely payment supplier invoices
Work closely with production planning on Min/Max/ROP reports to ensure accurate data is used for lead times and PO delivery dates and to understand productions needs along with any requirements for delivery pull-ins
Escalate potential fulfillment problems and assist in the implementation of both short and long term solutions.
research and identify new sources of products and services

Requirements
high volume buying experience with short lead-time with ability and flexibility to meet customer satisfaction in fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Requires MS Office skills; (Windows, Word, and Excel), Oracle and basic computer knowledge.
