Founding Senior Software Engineer- Typescript
At Quadratic we're on a mission to usher in the next generation of industry transforming data-science centric developer tools. We're an early-stage Boulder startup with a small but highly skilled team dedicated to solving difficult engineering challenges. We are currently searching for a talented and passionate Senior Software Engineer to join our team.
In this role you will have a high level of ownership and limited guidance while working closely with the founders on everything from how data is stored and accessed to the cloud platform that saves users files. This is an individual contributor role for the next six to twelve months but you'll be first in line for an engineering leadership position within the organization.

Location- Remote in Boulder
While recognizing the freedom and flexibility of remote work, there is still great value to be found in collaborating together in person. With this in mind, candidates open to occasionally traveling to work with the team in office are preferred. Relocation assistance is available if you're considering a move to the Boulder metro area.
Responsibilities
- You will architect, code, test, and regularly ship high-quality enterprise software.
- You’ll be intimately involved in brainstorming, designing, and prototyping product evolution.
- Adherence to product strategy and a continual focus on customer satisfaction will be key.
- Ship well-tested, secure, reliable, and maintainable code
- Support fellow engineers through peer code reviews and constructive discussions
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience building SaaS software and at least 1-2 years as a lead engineer
- Confident in your experience building full stack applications from the ground up- Server side emphasis is ok as well
- Demonstrated professional software development experience using Typescript, React, and Express(If you have equal experience and/or a deep background using compiled languages we'd love to speak to you as well)
- Algorithmic mindset and approach to engineering
Nice to have
- Experience working with WebGL or similar graphics libraries
