Full Time position scheduled 36 hours per week on the 12's nights with a weekend and holiday commitment on the Progressive Care Medical/Oncology.
Progressive Care Medical/Oncology
The Progressive Care Medical/Oncology unit has 32 beds and deals with
Hematological & Oncological Diagnosis (Leukemia, Lymphoma, Solid tumors, Hematological Malignancies, Oncological Emergencies), Respiratory diagnosis (pneumonia, Influenza, COPD, bipap), Pain Management (acute and chronic), Palliative care & hospice service for adult population.
Comprised of of RN's, PCT's, PCA's, Clerks, Clinical Practice Leader, and Unit Educator.
No vents, Provides beds for hospice, palliative care, and comfort care.
Generalized telemetry, chemotherapy treatment.

Immune - Compromised patients
REQUIRED EDUCATION / LICENSURE
• Requires current Michigan Nursing License
• Graduation from accredited nursing program
• New hires must have a BSN degree or must agree in writing to obtain their BSN within five years
• New graduate nurses, requires licensure examination scheduled within 45 days of hire
