Job Description
Due to an internal promotion, we are looking for a Regional VP of Sales, Wholesale Channel.
As the Regional VP of Sales, Wholesale for our Moen brand of products, you will be developing and implementing sales strategies and programs to achieve sales, profit, and obtain market share goals. You will oversee a large team of Regional Sales Managers and their direct reports to execute regional sales plans, increase sales with existing customers, acquire new customers, and penetrate new market segments. Collaboration with peers on sales guidance and across disciplines is essential for driving customer initiatives, segment strategies, and long-term strategic plans.
The ideal candidate will have (10) + years of Sales experience with at least (5) years of managing a team with demonstrated growth in career. Your background will be in the building products space, and you will have managed your own P&L in excess of $50M in revenue or greater with demonstrated profitability.
This role is a designated hybrid role which includes working at least 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) in our North Olmsted, OH/Cleveland, OH office and includes travel of approximately 70%, 3 weeks out of the month, with approximately 3 overnights a week.
Compensation will commiserate with experience and will be discussed upon first phone interview with one of our recruiters.
What you will be doing:
  • Guides the development and implementation of Sales strategies and programs for the US Wholesale Sales organization achieving sales, profit and market share goals.
  • Manages a team of Regional Sales Managers to implement and execute regional sales plans and programs increasing sales with current customers, converting new customer prospects and gaining traction in new market segments.
  • Works collaboratively with peers on the sales team and across disciplines on all sales related customer initiatives, segment strategies, and three-year strategic plans.
  • Develops influential top-to-top customer relationships leveraging market expertise, the Moen brand and our best-in-class direct sales team to deliver delivering differentiated customer solutions.
  • Proactively leads the evolution of the selling process, selling skills and the use of data and technology to maximize sales efficiency and results in the marketplace.
  • Provides an ongoing, data-driven assessment of the structure, resource allocation, and results of the region with proactive reporting of conclusions and corresponding recommendations to maximize performance in the marketplace.
  • Thinks ahead with proactive recommendations on the future of the sales team in the region: recruits, trains and develops a top notch and active field sales team, providing optimal market coverage within the assigned area.
  • Manages regional budgets and uses these funds judiciously to drive incremental sales within the region.
  • Generates sales forecasts and competitive analysis, as well as performs general sales administration duties.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree is required or commensurate business experience.
  • Must possess a minimum of 10 years of Sales or sales management experience to include 5 years’ experience managing a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and develop Associates’ accountability at all levels while steadfastly driving for results.
  • Demonstrated track record of progressive thinking with a bias towards removing barriers, creating new and different, and outperforming the marketplace.
  • Strong business and financial acumen creating with broad business perspectives, proven ability to manage and measure work.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and maintain positive relationships with all Moen customers, subsidiaries, agents, and sales team.
  • Must possess exceptional listening and communication skills, as well as energy, enthusiasm, and perseverance.
  • Ability to manage significant travel up to 70%.
  • Must be flexible to maximize business opportunities as they arise.
