Job Description
1.0 Basic Functions:
A Jones Covey Group, Inc. Dispatcher who will be responsible for directing and controlling activities of ten to twelve (10-12) regional personnel to meet service/testing standards both internally and externally. The person in this position will be involved in the scheduling, coordination, and reporting of service technicians for the Region. To be successful as a Regional Dispatcher, you must have excellent communication skills and great attention to detail.

Indirectly to Regional Operations Manager

4.0 Duties and Responsibilities:
· Direct and control activities of 10-12 Regional testers/technicians to meet service/testing standards both internally and externally.
· Assist Regional Operations manager with routing technicians within due dates to sites with the least windshield time and most efficient routes.
· Schedule with state compliance departments routing to ensure technician efficiency and testing/state compliance obligations are met by both date and time committed.
· Manage/update internal database for daily schedules and reporting.
· Assess and respond to all emergency requests within a timely manner.
· Creating/updating and receiving all P.O.’s assigned to the region.
· Generating and completing correspondence to vendors
· Shipping said equipment, tools and supplies to allocated technicians.
· Ordering Rental Equipment
· Compiling/QCV/Submitting test site reports to the proper state agency/client.
· All scheduling of flights and lodging for technicians during testing runs.
· Creating and submitting per diem and expense reimbursements for management and technicians.
· Assisting Regional Operations Manager with identifying and scheduling sub-contractors in the Region for testing and compliance needs and processing SPOs accordingly.
· Sourcing direct bill accounts for hotel stays across the United States and abroad.
· Manage technician certifications and schedule new certification testing/submission to correct agency and/or state.
· Managing/Updating COI for state departments.
· Working with Regional Operations Manager to ensure that Field techs/testers always have support during their work and travel schedule.
· Back up Regional Operations Manager for field emergency needs and coordinate with appropriate company contacts (Breakdowns/Fleet, etc.)
· Assist Regional Operations Manager to schedule inventory for each tech and ensure inventory counts submitted to accounting in timely fashion.
· Opening SPO’s for testing and purchasing needs
· Update tracker with all failed site and coordinate with Regional Operations Manager failed components /tests and appropriate action plans/return trips .
· Scheduling vac truck for flooded sites.
· Providing notifications to clients on all upcoming testing, inspections and repair work in region as well as test failures and reschedules
· Assisting with client requests /customer service
5.0 Education, Experience, and Certification Requirements:
· High School Diploma or GED
· Minimum 1-year extensive experience as a dispatcher or related job duties.
· Exceptional time management, multitasking, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to closely collaborate with other project teams and stakeholders.
· Good computer skills and use of Microsoft software.
· Ability to work in a team environment.
· Ability to be professional in all settings, with an acceptable level of fitness to complete duties as assigned.
6.0 Working hours and conditions:
A Regional dispatcher is required to work at least 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, with appropriate meal and rest breaks. Longer hours may be required on an “As Needed” basis. Appropriate protective clothing and safety shoes are required.
