Job description

Within our Continuous Improvement team located in Denver - Leprino is seeking a Regional Senior Manager, Continuous Improvement (Internally: Manager II, Regional CI) to move our organization to even larger level of dairy ingredient and cheese growth! At Leprino Foods, starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $139,000 and $170,000. This position has an annual target bonus of 15%.

  • Has informal and formal managerial responsibility for multiple functions and initiatives.
  • Implements strategy for Continuous Improvement across the organization.
  • Adapts plans and priorities to meet service and/or operational challenges.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to plant Continuous Improvement team members.
  • Ability to analyze an issue to determine if it requires training, development, or involving additional teams to solve.
  • Direct and train employees in the fundamentals of Continuous Improvement using appropriate process improvement tools and methodologies.
  • Identify and leverage standard processes across functional lines throughout the organization.
  • Recommend areas for investigation and modes of corrective action and initiate action.
  • Implement appropriate visual controls to ensure lasting results, including standard work, improvement opportunity walks and process audits.
  • Develop and implement systems and process improvements that optimize all phases of production process.
  • Identify dependencies and areas of contention with other functions/business divisions and drive the achievement of program plan that captures and appropriately manages all divisional and local challenges and considerations, including people, process and market related.
  • Support a consistent approach to evaluating core processes, seeing opportunities for improvement, developing employee re-engineering skills, building support for change and guiding project execution to achieve business goals and deliver financial benefit.
  • Develop teams by assembling multidiscipline subject matter experts, developing methodology for planning and execution, ensuring common understanding of project objectives, identifying and handling risks and removing project obstacles to enhance productivity and minimize distraction and disruption.
  • Implement/Support business performance tracking metrics by identifying key performance indicators, measuring progress and impact of change and reporting results to ensure transparency of financials, communication of realized benefits and enhanced employee engagement.
  • Support the plan/build of the budget by anticipating expenditures, accurately forecasting resource needs/costs and properly accounting for expenses to meet requirements and achieve fiscal responsibility.
  • Providing event follow-up regarding the progress of planned improvement implementation to assure timely action, appropriate management support, and achievement of expected tangible benefits.

You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Engineering, or Operations Management.
  • Four (4) years of relevant Continuous Improvement experience.
  • One (1) year of leadership experience.
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, TQM, and Toyota Production Systems.
  • The ability to travel up to 40%.
  • The ability to work a weekly 3/2 (office/home) hybrid schedule.
