THE ROLE

The Revenue Management team is a key contributor to Mint House's long term success to develop and recommend room rates and availability strategies to optimize the best mix of business through our distribution channels. Reporting to the Head of Revenue Management, the team is responsible for listing properties across all online channels (ex. OTAs, Airbnb), collaborate with the Corporate Partnerships team on commercial channels (GDS), and price rooms to maximize the value of revenue over time. In addition, this is a highly analytical role for driving analysis, compiling reports and developing models to support better decisions across the business.

This role is fully remote, we set a location because some job boards require it.

AT MINT HOUSE YOU WILL

  • Assist in maximizing room revenue, profit, and market share by actively monitoring and analyzing prices and revenue data across multiple properties and markets
  • Support Revenue team by assisting with strategy implementation by market and data entry operations of internal and external distribution channels
  • Partner with Sales, Brand, and Product to facilitate technical integrations and improve overall RevPar
  • Deliver and drive meaningful analysis that informs tactical pricing and revenue decisions to leadership team
  • Respond to reservation inquiries from the Corporate Partnerships team for long-stay pricing, group pricing, negotiated rates, etc
  • Work with Operations team to monitor out-of-order and out-of-service status of rooms to ensure that ground staff is properly maintaining the rooms and keeping them ready for same day reservations
  • Execute reporting functions of competitive set, price positioning, seasonality and mix while also participating in ad-hoc reporting

WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Bachelors Degree in a related field and/or at least 5-7 years of complex, multi-property hotel revenue management experience
  • Demonstrated interest in analyzing and presenting data; able to garner insights from larger amounts of data to inform pricing decisions and revenue maximization strategies
  • Proficient in Excel and familiarity with online booking channels and pricing tools
  • Experience with Duetto and iHotlier is a plus
  • Inquisitive to ask questions, think creatively, and an active listener
  • Strong collaborator, responsive team player, and gravitates towards an entrepreneurial environment
  • Proactive by nature and can act decisively when needed

Compensation range: $80,000 - $115,000
