The Recruitment Messaging Specialist is responsible for planning and implementing marketing and advertising activity within Talent Acquisition through collaboration with Talent Acquisition Leadership. This role will be a hybrid position based out of our Northfield, IL corporate offices.
Guide the creation and execution advertising models for any and all positions requiring additional reach.
Manage the relationship with Medline Marketing Division and approve creative materials for external use.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partner with Talent Acquisition leadership to determine model(s), budget and timeline for advertising of role(s).
- Work with Marketing Division in the vision, design and creation of digital and print promotional materials for advertising. Initiate and adhere to reasonable timelines for completion.
- Partner with Divisional Team(s) and the Marketing Division to enhance creative materials and content associated with job advertisements for Medline.
- Responsible for drafting content copy for any promotional ads (i.e social media, print ads, radio).
- Create and present quarterly business reviews to include an overview and analysis of completed/current projects, opportunities, trends, and recommended changes/improvements to Talent Acquisition leadership.
- Monitor and report competitors’ marketing activities. Research additional opportunities for job/brand advertisements for Medline, including but not limited to diversity, inclusion and belonging.
- Partner with current advertising vendors to ensure proper facilitation of resources. Process, track and maintain all invoices and spend by vendor.
- Track return on investment of all advertising resources (i.e. job boards, print ads, radio, etc) and providing recommendations on continued or discontinued efforts.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a business related field
- At least 1 year of experience in Talent Acquisition, Marketing or Advertising
- Data reporting and analysis skills required to perform core duties of the role.
- Ability to prioritize workload and schedule effectively in order to meet deadlines.
