The Recruiting Community Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for building relationships with qualified veterinary talent using various social media and networking outlets to achieve the Company's hiring objectives and assist with daily human resource functions.

Essential Job Duties:

Actively and passively connect with qualified veterinarians on social media and various networking sites to help fill open positions in various locations across the U.S. to meet the Company's hiring objectives.

Sourcing:

Actively connect with highly competent veterinarians and encourage them to join our team via direct and indirect outreach, by using the appropriate social media outlets, direct marketing (emails), trade shows, and private and public events. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:

Cold Outreach– Contact candidates that may be a potential match for our positions and may be currently employed via networking sites, email, social media contact, text, etc.

  • Referral Program – Effectively leverage the Company's in-house referral program and keep it fresh/top-of-mind for staff
  • Networking – Attending relevant events either virtually or in person, joining relevant niche organizations, and/or collaborating with candidates and other professionals in the industry
  • Assist the Corporate Recruiter and Marketing department with various projects as needed

Sourcing Strategy & Marketing:

  • Coordinating with the Director of Recruiting, Recruiting team/Veterinary Success Team, and Marketing team to create compelling job ads that engage qualified talent to apply for open positions
  • As needed, attend marketing events such as trade shows, local and regional CE, and meet-ups where the direct result is qualified candidates enter the interview funnel and brand awareness. This may require some inter-regional travel to new markets
  • Maintain passive candidate pipeline via talent pools and manage candidate keep warm strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Email Marketing Manager and Senior Marketing Manager to identify groups of potential veterinarians to receive specific, targeted recruitment marketing messages consistently.
  • Creatively find new methods of sourcing candidates to actively recruit to the Company
  • Assist with the evaluation of vendors as it relates to job boards, social media, associations, and candidate prospect information lists.

Processes & Data Management:

  • Aid in the oversight of the recruiting process with each candidate in the interview process and assess for issues that may arise based on trends evaluated in the marketplace.
  • Track and maintain all candidate data in the Company's ATS and CRM systems.
  • Create and present weekly reports to managers using applicant tracking and BI reporting tools.
  • Update and refresh job postings as needed.

Candidate Research:

  • Conduct discovery calls with candidates who may not be ready to make a move or might not yet meet the necessary qualification to become an Indevet currently.
  • Conduct reference checks on candidates who are nearing an offer of employment as needed.
  • Conduct and provide available candidate research needed to qualify a lead for a recruiter to process, including but not limited to contact information, location, social media links, licensing, and board standing.

Required Education:

High school diploma or equivalent and/or combination of education and related, relevant experience

Required Skills / Experience:

  • Minimum of three or more years of experience recruiting in a high-volume setting, regularly achieving hiring targets
  • Previous experience with actively sourcing/soliciting candidates, especially leveraging appropriate social media platforms, mailing lists, search engines, networking online, event networking, and referral generation.
  • Experienced utilizing Boolean operators and other search string functionality to identify online talent.
  • Proven ability to conduct market research both internally and externally and take the data acquired to build, present, and implement robust sourcing strategies that align with hiring goals.
  • Previous experience with basic human resources functions such as entering information into an HRIS platform and knowledge of basic employment laws related to recruiting and interviewing.
  • Previous experience with entering, maintaining, and reporting from an ATS system.
  • Ability to travel domestically up to 20% of the time

Preferred Skills / Experience:

  • Associate degree in human resources and/or marketing
  • Familiarity with the veterinary industry and existing veterinary network.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Active social media presence & expertise on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tik Tok, Etc. and a willingness to leverage for sourcing as needed.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Familiarity with Greenhouse or iCIMS ATS systems.
