We are partnered with an organization ranked #1 in Pulmonology by U.S. News & World Report. Located in Denver, they are the only facility in the world dedicated exclusively to the research and treatment of respiratory, cardiac, immune, and related disorders.
Their health initiatives program and looking to find awesome Wellness Coaches who, in addition to being part of our nationally recognized hospital team, will make a difference through phone coaching sessions, assessments, evaluations, support, and motivation to program participants to achieve and maintain optimal health status with the Tobacco Cessation Program. This role will allow you to work with individuals who want to quit smoking.
REWARDS
- This role pays $20.25/hour on a temporary-to-hire basis
- Remote schedule with 2 consecutive days off
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree Required, preferably in health sciences, health education, behavioral science, or social science
- Health or Wellness coaching experience
- Motivational interviewing
- Must live in the state of Colorado
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Educates and coaches a diverse population of participants in quitting tobacco by following motivational interviewing techniques
- Explains Health Initiatives programs to participants, builds rapport, and engages callers following guidelines, protocols, and scripting
- Completes an intake questionnaire with participants to verify program eligibility.
- Documents participant data in compliance with HIPAA requirements, departmental standards, and specific client guidelines
- Maintains friendly, confident, open, and effective communication with participants to identify program eligibility and inspire continued participation.
- Assists participants to help determine participant goals, and readiness to change, and supports the behavior change
- Maintains call center metrics and individual performance standards
