Receptionist/Appointment Scheduler

We are a fence sales and installation company. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Receptionist/Appointment setter. As an appointment setter you will play a crucial role in coordinating and scheduling all appointments for our outside sales team. You must be familiar with the roadways and driving environments in both Suffolk and Nassau Counties. You will be responsible for mapping efficient and sensible routes.

Responsibilities:

- Answer all incoming calls on multi-line phone system, screen, take messages,direct calls

-Schedule and map estimate appointments for outside sales team. Must be comfortable using scheduling software, maps and other tools to manage customer interactions and appointments. Resolve any issues, follow ups, changes to schedules
- Handle customer inquiries, provide information on products and services. Ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Willing to learn about fence materials and products.
- Communicate and coordinate effectively with all our office staff and sales team
- Varied office duties as needed - copy, file, scan, data entry, data collection, etc

Skills:

-Exceptional and friendly customer service skills a must!

-Knowledge of fence industry or construction a plus!

- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of mapping routes and experience with the roadways of Long Island.
- Excellent communication skills with positive attitude to effectively interact with customers!
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced small construction office environment!

Must be able to sit at desk for prolonged periods of time, Must be able to climb stairs, Must be able to lift 30lbs, Must be able to reach and bend, Must be reliable!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
